A dream Dublin City wedding for Elle & Dan
When Elle and Dan decided to tie the knot, they kept things simple yet very personal. After eloping in Cleveland, they hopped on a plane to celebrate their love in a city they’ve visited—and fallen in love with—before: Dublin. It was just the two of them, their wedding attire, and a plan to soak in everything they adored about this vibrant city.
Their day wasn’t about formalities or a strict itinerary. It was about wandering through Dublin’s streets, capturing memories, and celebrating in true Irish style—with plenty of charm, laughter, and of course a pint of the black stuff.
We began our adventure at the historic grounds of Trinity College. Elle’s stunning Louboutin shoes added a dash of glamour, but the cobbled streets soon called for something more practical: her trusty Converse. Dan, ever the Prince Charming, helped her change in and out of them throughout the day—a true gentleman.
Next up was The Stag’s Head, one of Dublin’s most iconic pubs. Over a quiet drink in its cozy, traditional atmosphere, the couple toasted their adventure, and we captured some timeless moments. From there, we wandered to Dublin Castle, where the grounds gave us more opportunities for stunning backdrops.
The Irish weather was in our favour and we made our way to the Molly Malone statue for a quick photo, followed by lunch alfresco at Chez Max. It was a moment to relax and soak up the energy of the city before heading into Temple Bar for their first pint of Guinness. At The Temple Bar itself, the barman kindly poured the couple a celebratory pint, and locals stopped to congratulate them everywhere they went. The warmth and friendliness of Dubliners added something truly special to their day.
Our next stops included the vibrant George’s Arcade, where Elle and Dan explored its colourful charm, followed by Farrier & Draper, where we captured some fabulous photos over cocktails in this stylish spot
More wandering led us to the stunning Café en Seine, where a complimentary glass of bubbles awaited them, and then to Peruke & Periwig. It was here they sampled their very first “baby Guinness” shots—a hit that won’t be their last! Chats with the locals added even more memories to the day, with plenty of laughs and toasts to their future.
As the afternoon unfolded, we strolled through St. Stephen’s Green, stopped for a croissant on the street, and ended our adventure at the iconic Ha’penny Bridge. The evening sunshine over the River Liffey was the perfect finale to a day filled with love, laughter, and everything that makes Dublin magical.
Elle and Dan’s Dublin wedding celebration was the kind of day that reminds us all that sometimes, the best moments are the ones where you let the city—and your love—lead the way.
Dublin, you never disappoint. And Elle and Dan, thank you for letting me capture your incredible day. Here’s to many more adventures for you both!
