Emily and her family were visiting Ireland for the first time, and I joined them for a day out in the Burren, County Clare. We watched the sheepdogs at work at Caherconnell, explored the Burren Perfumery and picked blackberries along the way. Four hours flew by, between climbing stiles, navigating tiny country roads and stopping whenever something caught their eye. Plenty to explore, with time to enjoy it all together.

Family vacation photos that fit around your day

You don’t need to set aside a day of your holiday just for photographs. I can join you for something you’re already looking forward to doing. The kids have things to do and places to explore, and everyone has time to settle in and forget about the camera. You get to be in the photographs together, doing the things you’ll remember from your trip.

Come home with photos of everyone together

If you’re usually the one taking the photos, you probably come home with plenty of the kids and very few with you in them. Having me along means you can put your phone away for a while and be part of what’s happening. You’ll have photographs of the places you visited, but also of you all enjoying them together.

How Emily found the experience

Emily’s words probably explain this best:

“I get awkward around cameras, and though sometimes I caught myself catching her as ‘a photographer’, most of the time I just felt like a friend joined us who just happened to have a camera. We will have these memories forever, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.”

Where to have your family vacation photos in Ireland

You don’t need to have a location picked before you get in touch. Tell me where you’re staying and what you’re hoping to do during your trip, and we can take it from there. It could be a few hours exploring somewhere like the Burren, a walk on the beach or time together at your holiday rental.

I’m based in Cavan and travel throughout Ireland for family sessions, so we can plan around where you’ll be. There’s no need to squeeze another journey into your itinerary just for photographs.
