Tom turned one. The family gathered. The bouncy castle survived.

A sunny day in Ireland — which already felt like a gift — and a garden full of children, grandparents, cousins and chaos. Exactly the kind of day I love to document.


A Stress-Free Family Session with No Posing

Nobody was asked to pose. Nobody had to smile on cue. The trampoline was in constant use, the swings and slides never had a moment's peace and the piñata caused the kind of excitement and competitive tension that only children can generate.

I moved quietly through it all — watching, waiting, finding the story as it unfolded.


Real Moments at Home with Family and Friends

While the kids played outside, the adults got busy in the kitchen. Dough was stretched, mozzarella bubbled and pizzas came out of the outdoor oven one after another. Flour dusted hands, concentration faces, slices devoured before they'd even cooled down.

Those moments — the ordinary ones happening on the edges of the main event — are the ones worth finding.
